Four Killed in Juárez, Two Were US Nationals

(Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, 4 October) A woman, 35, and her son, 19, both from the United States, were murdered in the streets of Ciudad Juárez yesterday, as they rode their Dodge Durango with Texas plates through the city, according to the Chihuahua state attorney general’s office. Rosa Williams and her son, Pablo Noé were on one of the city’s most trafficked streets when gunmen opened fire on them with an AK-47 assault rifle and a 9 mm caliber pistol. Many pedestrians were witnesses to the violent incident. Two Mexican residents were also murdered by the gunmen: Alberto Nieto Nieto, 24, and Alma Yesenia Flores, 21.

Investigative police have not yet determined the motive for the crime
