How to Get to Zipolite
Getting to Zipolite from Pochutla - The cheapest way to get to Zipolite is by using a small pick-up truck with bench style seats in back refered to in Spanish as a camioneta. You will need to ask where the closest pick up spot is for camionetas heading to Zipolite, and it could get pretty crowded, but it will only cost you about 10 pesos so what it lacks in comfort it makes up for in price.
The next option is a colectivo which is essentially a Taxi that will try to fit as many people as possible into the available space, then heads off to Zipolite.
If you're not on a budget or just plain want to get there quickly, you want to get there with the minimum of hassles by flagging down a private taxi, the cost is around $10.00 USD.
Getting to Pochutla from Zipolite - Basically, you follow the same procedure as above. You can either wait on the main road for a camioneta (pay the driver when you get out), or you can usually find a Taxi in town waiting for something to do.
